Open for business

The studio is not fully done yet, but it is done enough that I have been able to start working in here again. I am getting my two on-line classes ready to launch in August. One teaches the creative process I go through to design my own projects. I will teach how to design things from scratch along with several methods involved in making a quilted wall hanging. I am also going to teach beginning doll making. I am very excited about the prospect.

I put Snap's RR on the design wall and auditioned a few ideas with it. I am almost ready to start quilting it with metallic threads and the bias tape border. Here it is, on the design wall, with the first of my ideas on how to proceed:

I thought I was impressed with the flora in California until we moved to Arkansas. Every week I discover a new flowering plant or bush. Here are photos of the two newest ones in our back yard:

I started working outside the home this week. I miss my freedom! At least the job will fund my desires for more things to work on in the studio though! lol
