I have begun the quilt for my daughter and her soon to be husband. They love Japanese stuff. Even though the dragons are more Chinese, they also love dragons, so I took liberties with the Japanese theme...let's just call it Oriental themed. lol

Here are the first bits of fabric cut out and on the design wall:

I took the four blocks and photo-shopped them into a quilt:

The colors look muted here. The lighter blue is a lot more vivid and the darker fabric is more rich looking in person too. I am just happy to have a pattern started and one that I not only like, but that is easy too! :D
