Ready for winter....

Ice Castle Block
I worked on the flowers, ONLY, for several HOURS and now my Ice Castle block is done and ready for the U is for Unicorn quilt. There are two more letter blocks to do and five decorative filler blocks to make for this quilt....and some of these are very intricate and labor intensive! THEN I will be ready for the border work that also has decorative stitching on it.

Just for kicks, I laid out the blocks:
It is shaping up to be an interesting quilt!

Thank you Jaye, and yes, after seeing this particular body of work up on the design wall for the first time, I AM proud of it! A rare thing for me to actually admit. :D

Thanks everyone...I have two letter blocks and three major decorative blocks to do. Then I have about a dozen decorative strips and a very intense border to do. It IS coming together nicely though! :)
