Froggy Went a Courtin'

I dabbled with a frog. Now doesn't that sound odd? lol Anyway, here is the progress on the frog puppet remake project. This is a stuffed animal that I am attempting to turn into a puppet for my eight year old son.

His eyes are ready to be attached:

And his mouth is ready to be stitched in place:
We had almost a half inch of snow two days ago. It was fun because we didn't have to go out and about in it! I loved watching the flakes come down in the light of the street lamps. Not much else to share. I hope to accomplish more studio projects this weekend as I am supposed to have it off!

Leap Frog

At 2pm today I FINALLY finished trimming the triangle squares for the Summer Pickle Mystery Quilt-2008. The photos don't match how enormous the pile looks in real life though!

Even at this angle, you can't really tell there are several HUNDRED squares!!!

The process must have made me crazy or something. I have these projects waiting to be worked on:
In the foreground you see some red felt and a heart block that I hope to make into a Valentine. Behind it are three objects that I hope to make into something else. And finally you see the green frog.

Why do I say I am crazy from cutting out all those triangle-squares? Because the frog now looks like this:
euuuuuuuuuuuuuu, frog vomit!
