I love this Hawaiian quilt that was featured at our guild meeting on Monday:
Part of it was appliqued on the surface of the quilt and part of it was reverse appliqued, a technique I have yet to try, but want to!
Since these photos were on my phone, along with the quilt above, I am finally getting them on this blog to share with you!
This is a metallic looking cutout um...statue? no....silhouettes? no....art object? YES!
This is trying to show detail on the city hall building in downtown North Little Rock.
I am cutting sashing for the storybook quilt today. I might even start sewing it together!
Till next time...happy sewing!!!
