Auditions

I am auditioning fabric to figure out how I want to finish this. I think I will make it a dress instead of a shirt. I also am going to use the band to join the two together. There is a band of fabric around the middle in the photo below. I might also change the sleeves or cuffs. I was thinking of using linen but since the top is cotton, I think I will go with a cotton bottom too.
Now to decide if I should do a full gathered skirt or a smooth A-line type with slits. I plan to wear this to perform our music act in, at open session nights.
