Time to get busier!

Facebook is evil! It takes me away from my studio time. I am using that as the EXCUSE this time!!! The real truth is that I have so many projects that I can't seem to focus on any one or two to work on! There are several that I WANT to work on, but they are demanding of my skills...very challenging...and therefore, very daunting!

What do I do when this happens? (Yes, it has happened before) Well I either do the handwork on the hexagon quilt or do some odd little project that is NOT too taxing! Today it was the distraction of working with zippers.

I recently purchased (very cheaply) twenty zippers of various lengths. This bag is made from the smallest ones that are five inches long. I started with six-and-a-half inch squares of fabric and made this little bag as a gift for someone I know that needs a gift sent to her. I hope she likes mermaids!
From start to finish this little bag took less than 30 minutes! I got the pattern from Skip to My Lou. I ADORE that blog!

So tomorrow, unless something REALLY serious happens, I plan to tackle some of those daunting projects. I really do! :)

Sherri,
I do indeed love mermaids. Thank you so much for the zipped bag and the fairie charm and the fabric. I have never seen that magic print before.
Thanks so much for the pick-me-up.
