Want a Doll for Christmas?

I was gifted two dolls recently. Both were split open with stuffing falling out of them. I plan to remake them into some other creation! Here is one of the dolls in the condition I received it in:

I have already removed all the stuffing from the other doll:

What remains are legs, arms, and a pretty head.

I am not sure where they will go from here. The pieces are made of a hard plastic, treated to look like china. The possibilities are endless! :)


I still haven't decided on the next project for sure, but I am leaning towards doing a Cathedral Window quilt by hand. I like handwork at night while watching TV. I want to do it in the traditional white with colorful 'windows' of either batiks or brocade. I will keep you posted on that.
