Snowy Day in the Studio

I can't believe we got enough snow to shut down the city again today! It is still coming down! It has been a great morning in the studio though! I have my block done for the meeting after next month. lol It is called "Spring Stars".

The borders are on the challenge quilt and it is now pin-basted and ready for quilting:
Just for fun, here is my five month old German Shepherd, Ziva, playing in the snow:

There are more photos and another video on her website.

Love the colors of your spring block. Ziva must be so much fun. The video is great. What is she playing with?

She's playing with a ball on a rope. :)

I love the fussy cut butterfly in your star block, and the colors are great. It is wonderful that you are able to spend so much time in the studio. Sunshine

Thank you Carolyn and I will let you in on a secret....the butterfly was not fussy cut! It was by accident that it appeared there! lol

Wasn't that snow something? I'm over in Russellville, so we got even a bit more! At least the power didn't go out, like you I spent the time quilting!

Ziva is beautiful! We have the last of our line (we had 6 shepherds!) and she's 10 now, just starting to slow down some this year.

I got a lot done during the three days the child was home because of the snow!
Ziva is really a gem. We used to foster GSD's in CA. Ziva is our first one we bought just for us. We owned one foster before her and 'babysat' several other fosters before that. I never knew how wonderful the breed was before that!
