Why is my black car, yellow?

Ah spring time. The flowers are all blooming here! We also have one of the biggest pollen counts ever recorded in Arkansas!!! ACHOO!!! Anyway, because Jaye pestered me again, I did this accent block for the U is for Unicorn quilt:
We had a great thundershower here about an hour ago. It washed all the pollen off my car. I have never seen so much pollen on a vehicle in the spring time!!! It almost looked greenish instead of black!
That is about all I have to report for now. I will finally get back to work in my studio this week. The combination of the monthly guild meeting this coming Monday and having seen all five seasons of "Weeds" on Netflix, has me ready to get back to the work that I really DO love. :)

Hi Sherri! thanks so much for visiting my blog and entering my giveaway! Good luck!

I'm in OK, so I now how good it feels when the pollen is washed away with a rain. It seems all is covered here in a greenish powder right now...which is the pollen!

To answer your question...yes transferware does come in purple! I've got it in my bedroom and just did an Easter tablescape with light purple/lavender plates. I've got a lot of purple in my bathroom too...you can look at my older posts on the Master Bath Makeovers to see some. I'll be posting an entire table done in purple soon too!

Again, thanks for stopping by!
