I decided to follow directions and added button centers to the baskets of flowers. If someone doesn't like them, they can be snipped off!

The madness is almost over here. The moat builders have mostly clean-up work and one small retaining wall to finish. They should be totally done and out of here by Monday at the latest. They did a great job! I was very impressed.
I didn't get studio time today, other than a bit of cleaning up and the buttons on the baskets of flowers. Perhaps tomorrow I will be able to do more actual machine sewing. :)
